Order of Execution for a Money Judgment
An order of execution enforces a money judgment; it does not deliver possession of real property.
Different from possession
A landlord with both possession and money judgments uses separate processes. An order for possession cannot be used as a money-collection workflow.
What to provide
Provide the issued execution papers, court and docket information, judgment date, debtor information, levy location, plaintiff contact, and any known property information or prior execution history.
Legal questions
The office cannot advise whether property is exempt, whether execution is financially worthwhile, or how to proceed in another county.
Ready to submit information?
Office staff will review the request, documents, authority, deadlines, service area, and availability before accepting any assignment.
